On The Street As A Vendor

My first attempt at street vending here in Stillwater was a success!
Fortunately for me, people were feeling quite festive and generous during homecoming weekend.  I sold 11 Lucky Pete dolls, 1 Voodoo Doll, and 1 Embroidered Sugar Skull.  On top of that, my nephews Trey and Cole got to come see what their crazy aunt does with her arts and crafts.  I hope they had as much fun as I did!  Thank you Stillwater!

Lucky Stillwater, I will soon share my artwork with you!

I am in the process of obtaining a street vendor permit from the City of Stillwater.  Along with my application, I must also turn in notes from local business mangers/owners that grant me permission to display my arts and crafts items on the sidewalks in front of their buildings.  I am happy to report Stillwater is overrun with some very generous and helpful people who have given me the green light.  So, when I get the permit, I will be setting up my displays (on the occasional Saturday afternoon) downtown in front of Crafty Concepts, Finnegan's Pub, or the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  I will also try to set up (most likely on game days) at the corner of Miller and Duck alongside the Casa Mia Apartments.

Goin' Mobile (Maybe???)

Hmm, I'm thinking of takin' my crazy art to the mean streets of Stillwater. Maybe in this fashion...
